| Q | Can we pop round for a chat? |
| A | This is how we find our customers like to start the refitting process. Talking through what they really want from the room. Call us on 01665 602420 or 07920 886254 and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as physically possible. |
| Q | How soon can I use the room you are working in? |
| A | This all depends on what adhesives we are using and what we are tiling onto. Rapid set adhesives can be walked on in around 3 hours time from laying the last tile, others maybe a 24hr period. |
| Q | What about the removal of wallpaper and removing items of furniture? |
| A | Minor items can be removed although when it comes to the removal of items such as fridge freezers, sofas, wallpaper and paint, as you can not tile onto a painted surface unless it passes a tape test, the rate will be £10 per hour. |
| Q | How much mess is involved and how much rubbish will I be left with? |
| A | We pride ourselves on keeping a clean job, always. We have stair runners and dust sheets to cover all your carpets, floors and anything else that may need covered. We will leave any rubbish however it can be taken away for a small charge; this is due to the council enforcing £50 fees every time we use the recycling centre. |
| Q | Can you recommend a tile supplier? |
| A |
We prefer customers to use the a dedicated tile store/warehouse and to stay clear of your general DIY stores. Tiles have been found to be different sizes, warped and generally bad quality. See my "Recommended Tile Supplier" page. |
| Q | What if the walls are too far out or in bad condition? |
| A | We will commence work should we see fit that the walls are in good enough condition to, otherwise we will recommend a reputable plasterer. |
| Q | What if the floors are not level or the walls not flat? |
| A |
There are many products out now that will give a smooth level surface when applied. There are also ways to overcome any other issues, ie overboarding for bouncy floors. If the walls need skimmed I can recommend a skilled tradesman to do it. |
| Q | Are we insured? |
| A | We have full public liability insurance. |
| Q | How can I pay? |
| A | There are currently two methods of payment. Cash or cheque. |
